Black Prophecy Podcast

I've been looking high and low and no one has made a BP Podcast yet, like no one. At least none that I can find. I was wondering if any of you guys had any delusions of grandeur and might start one up! It could be a great tool of information to the community and help the clan in recruitment and membership as well as prolonged survival.

The first episode could focus on everything we know so far about Black Prophecy and then a discussion between the hosts about what they are looking forward to most about the game.

The second episode could come out two weeks later talking about what new information is being revealed - also you guys might read the BP timeline, or some of the BP stories/history on the site get some lazy people up to date on the whole mythos behind the game.

Third episode same thing 2 weeks after that by then more info about beta and open beta would be out, release info, could get a geust or two from the clan have achat with them about the game, pimp there characters if they have bios for them etc. etc. then by the time the game comes out you are set up as the premiere Genide Clan and BP podcast. Also the fact of having the podcast would draw in listeners to becoming members etc. etc. a win win.

Now I being shy and utterly failing at this thing called life am inept and could not take part but as the idea struck me I felt it necessary to share that information in the hopes that a few of you may be brave enough and well spoken enough.

Thoughts? lol

Welcome to the Optimus Forums Gategod! And BP in general

This is a great idea and I've watched several podcast when Starcraft 2 was about to come out and enjoy people talking about recent beta patches, strategies, tactics etc.

Though, I'd think this would be a better idea later on when BP has a bigger player base. BP forums are usually quiet (but still has active posters) and that's because BP is still a while away and only a few have been accepted into Closed Beta.

Then again, you're asking the Optimus clan, not me So if they have time, they might make a podcast.

Oh god a podcast no one wants to see my ugly face on the internets! That is why I will not make one, The solution is we will need to elect one of our more visual pleasing members to do it. Morgue! or Rooster (hes always claiming how sexy he is) step to the plate this guy(or gal to be politically correct) has ideas, capitalize!

I wouldn't mind doing one with Morgue actually. While BP Forums don't seem all that active, there are still many guests who read the forums and never post.

But, I dunno yet. It's a neat idea, but I'm not sure if I could commit to it at this point.

Wow I skip out on browsing our forums for one day and look at how much i'm missing? That'll show me huh guys? (and apparently now ladie(s)) Well to start off i'd like to welcome you to the forums GG (GATEGOD for all of you acronym illiterate people out there), good to see you off the BP forums and into ours ^_^.

Now as far as the podcast goes, I think it's an excellent idea! I honestly can't believe none of us had thought of it before. I think we were a few steps behind you as we had already thought of doing a newsletter, but a podcast just sounds so much more... well to be blunt FUN! I've been talking to Rooster about it and like he said in his previous post we're both up for doing it. But this won't just be limited to us, anyone in Optimus is more than welcome to join, but it might be better at the moment to let Rooster and I do it for the first couple of segements so you can witness our potiential screw ups and avoid them yourself in the future lol.

Would anyone mind Rooster and I starting it off? (or doing the majority of it in the event that no one else wants to do it) If not we'll start working on it right away, and we'll be giving updates on the status of our little Podcast. If anyone else is interest in joining it in the future feel free to PM me or Rooster about it and we'll let you know ^_^
