BlackProphecy not a F2P?
What do you guys think if BlackProphecy will be a F2P for a few months after release and then changing to a mothly fee due to lack of income from the game? After just coming out of bankruptcy do you really think they will survive on just an Item Shop? Also do you think that people will abuse the Item Shop and have the servers become inbalenced over time? Theres a lot of speculations about it and i would love to hear what you guys think.
Need more details let me know

My personal opinion is that if they don't get enough funds from a F2P game they can't move on to becoming a pay per month game.
The other way around works better since a few games have done that (DDO is one).
They've placed themselves in a position where it must work or the game will be discontinued.
Simple as that.

Angron is right. Unless they "gradually" started to move over to P2P but even then a lot of their player base will be mad about switching and they could loose the people who cant afford P2P (although if you pay for internet im sure you can pay for BP P2P )

Well....he did say "i would love to hear what you guys think." that right there makes it well...non-rhetorical question.

One of my all-time favorite games did that. "Infantry online"
As soon as it went pay to play everyone quit and never came back (even after becoming free again).
Bummed me out.

Yeah changing systems once everyone is established would be bad news. I don't think they can risk that without some obvious (and very large) upside.

I do think it's funny that once I posted this topic on the BP forums, a day later they come out with new screenshots :3.
Though...I'm suuuuuure it's just coincidence
