New Logo

Some of you may have noticed a new logo on our forums. Well, it's kind of hard to miss!

Props to Daneska over that Mujina's EU based clan 'Hull Breach' for the awesome logo! He even gave us a nice little emblem that we can use on our clan station and in forums:

Haahaha, I've been outdone. Oh well, it lasted for awhile (pretty good for a 30 min effort I'd say ). It appears I'm not the only one who uses vector graphics around here anymore.

I like the Grim Reaper/circle emblem a lot, though I would be more impressed if you'd made the background from scratch.

Actually, I think if you were to take just the circle emblem and the text without the background, it would look nicer and use less space on the forum header...

The first I wanna say: The logo was made especially for your portal, alien text is a little easter egg =) In other font it would looks like a little message from our clan to yours. (btw it is not a vector graphic =P)
2nd: I did it on special order, adhering to requirements, which gave Ares, including the effect of painting\scratch.

I edited the top three insignia ranks a bit, adding stars and bars so everything makes sense.

Next step after guild logo would be to make your website uberly awesome ^^

For starters u can make seperate images for your nav bar and then assign them such that onmouseover, the images actually swap out and back again onmouseout to give the illusion of button being depressed upon hover.

To add a further illusion, u can create a 3rd set of images for onmouseclick so that not only do the images change when yr mouse hovers over, it changes further when u click the link.

It already is uberly awesome, I mean there's only so much you can add to it without makeing it a...and i'm sorry but this word is extremely effective "clutter F***" like some OTHER PEOPLE'S GUILDS -coughglacticprimecough-. It's pretty clean the way it is ^_^.
